“Melanin” is a free photo book by Reliable Supply CEO Christian Elia that follows three individuals through a town in Conway, South Carolina, a state scarred with continued race issues. It’s no secret that the south (as well as other parts of the country) is in debt to the slaves that helped build and maintain it. Alexis, Marissa, and Mikias journey through a downtown setting and own the beauty of it while also acknowledging that we have a long way to go.
